January typically is one of the more slower months in the annual real estate cycle, so I would not put too much emphasis into the numbers for 2011 yet. I feel 2011 is going to be a good year!

I wanted to make sure this map was pointed out as a useful tool for anyone relocating to St Tammany Parish, and more specifically; Mandeville or Madisonville, and who wants to make sure their home is in the one of the best school districts in the State of Louisiana. For your own personal reasons, be it; the wonderful offspring which the good Lord has blessed you… YEAH RIGHT!!!, Spawn of the devil you mean!?, or it could possibly have something to do with resale value. Whatever that is? Because, as you know, once your Pride and Joy, are out of school, another batch will be following in right behind them… Someone elses Pride and Joy.

The St Tammany Parish Louisiana Annual Property Tax Sale.

The annual St Tammany Property Tax sale is normally held on a Wednesday, and in years past, has been held during the last week of May or the first week of June. You may check back with this website, or visit www.StTammanyTaxSale.com to stay abreast of information on upcoming property sales.
The property tax sale is held at the Justice Center at 701 N Columbia St, Covington, LA 70433. Please click the link for an interactive Google Map showing the location of the St Tammany Parish Property Tax Sales.
 
The list of delinquent tax sale properties is advertised in the St Tammany Farmer, 985-892-2323, two times before the actual sale date. Once time approxiametly 4 – 5 weeks prior to the sale, and then again one week prior to the scheduled sale date. In many cases the list of properties will see a significant/decent reduction in the total number of properties too be sold, as people come in and pay their delinquent taxes prior to the sale. *In note, the St Tammany Tax Collector will not allow anyone to pay their property taxes the actual day of the sale.

Minutes Old Baby Thoroughbred Horse, I Helped Foal, 2/6/11, Awesome!

This little colt is actually the second foal I helped deliver, however there were complications with the first one and unfortunately the little guy did not survive. However, this beautiful little colt foaled at Generations Thoroughbreds Farm in Franklinton last Sunday morning was delivered in no time at all, we / they had to keep him warm throughout the night since it was so cold that night. (I went home and to bed eventually 🙂 ) However the whole experience was an absolute blast for me, and he is doing just fine now and is almost a week old. I may post more video of him later. I am not sure. There are currently six more babies to go… 🙂
