In standard the Winter months are the slowest time of the year in volume of sales for St Tammany real estate; and with this in mind an increase in sales as we head into 2014 is excellent news!

75 homes sold in the Covington, Abita Springs, and Folsom area for the month of November 2013 which is a 20% drop from the 95 homes sold during October. This is a big hit for November, but it is to be expected as we get closer to Christmas. Cyclically speaking this happens every year as we get into shorter days and cooler weather.
