Properties Sold at the St Tammany Foreclosure Sale, August 10th, 2011
Download Foreclosures Sold, 8_10_11, St Tammany, LA
Attached above you will find the list of foreclosed homes which sold on August 10th, 2011. This was a very small sale, with less than 10 people who attended, and almost everyone of them was an attornery or abstractor. About 10 months ago St Tammany capped the number of scheduled foreclosures a week at 50; a band-aid remedy for the unprecedented high number of foreclosures we are experiencing.
You will also find attached the list of homes which were scheduled, however were cancelled or postponed.

Peter Gitz; Mayor of Madisonville, LA, Speaks at Tammany Together Meeting 4/18/11
Pulled together, by Tammany Together! 5 St Tammany Mayors were assembled and I happened to bring a video camera. One of the five Mayors to attend the meeting is Peter Gitz of Madisonville. I wish I would have been able to edit more video of Mayor Gitz, however his voice was so low it was futile. Even in this video, through which Mayor Fitzmorris of Abita Springs and Mayor Gitz discuss the number of gas customers in each municipality, it is a little hard to understand him. Sorry Mayor Gitz…
Well… I have enjoyed the beautiful riverfront in Madisonville many times and good Lord willing, may do so again. Many times!! Laissez les bon temps roulez!
Thank You

90 Homes sold in Eastern St Tammany Parish for the month of June 2011. 90 is a decrease over May’s outstanding numbers. However, 90 sales is still an increase, in volume, for the Spring months and as we head into Summer we hopefully will be able too look forward to better numbers, even if it is just for the summer season. Keep your head up.

4/18/11, The Tammany Together Association asked Mayors from across St Tammany to attend an informal presentation and question and answer session. In this video, Mayor Fitzmorris of Abita is asked about how his city feels about incorporating police through the STPSO and fire through the Parish fire districts, and hence the effects on the budget? Tammany Together Mayoral Forum; ‘How is Growth in Unincorporated Parts of St Tammany Affecting Their Cities?” Part 3 of 3
On April 18th, 2011 Mayors from across St Tammany Parish were asked by the Tammany Together Associaton to attend a public meeting; the forum was graciously attended by:
- Mayor Freddy Drennan – Slidell, LA
- Mayor Donald Villere – Mandeville, LA
- Mayor Peter Gitz – Madisonville, LA
- Mayor Candice Watkins – Covington, LA
- Mayor Louis Fitzmorris – Abita Springs, LA
This is part 3 of the 3 part video, which I had to break up due to its length… In this series, one conscientious citizen asks the question; "With all of the growth in the Parish happening in the un-incorporated areas; how is this affecting growth in the incorporated areas?" And in this particular segment Mayor Villere of Mandeville and Mayor Watkins of Covington have the microphone. Hope you enjoy.
