Laissez les bons temps rouler! The 2012 Krewe of Push Mow paraded on the streets of Abita Springs, Louisiana on Saturday, February 11, 2012 with this year's theme being "We Like it Like Dat!" The parade traveled through Abita on Level and Main Streets and ended by the Abita Town Hall where an after party with food, drinks and music provided by Benny Grunch was available at a small cost.

46 homes sold in the Covington, Abita Springs, and Folsom Louisiana area for the month of November 2011; which is very consistent to the 50 homes sold in October. We could look hard at the numbers and say this is an 8% drop from one month to the next, however with the market heading into it's annual crawl, (November, December, and January are typically the slowest, sales volume, months of the year) I would not put much emphasis on any current slowing in the market. As we move into spring , I feel confident the volume of sales will increase.

Consequently, as we head in the cooler months and darkness begins to fall earlier, the annaul real estate cycle normally equates to a decrease in volume of sales at this time .
