2011 St Tammany Children’s Museum, Celebration of Discovery, Video

In 2004, the Junior League of Greater Covington initiated talks with Parish President Kevin Davis to build a children’s museum in St. Tammany. In 2009, the museum groundbreaking was held at its future home on Koop Drive adjacent to the Kids Konnection playground.

What a really great fun and exciting place for children in St Tammany. Attached is a short video of the Celebration of Discovery.

Abita Springs, Louisiana was originally an Indian Village which was settled for it’s natural springs water. And… Uhhh… Ummm… Today… They make some pretty darn good beer with it. 🙂
