I wish I would have been able to edit more video of Mayor Gitz, however his voice was so low it was futile. Dear Mr. Mayor:
I am a citizen of Mandeville and am writing you urgently requesting your support against the proposed drilling and fracking in Mandeville. I live and recreate three miles from this site and my home and health are in direct danger of harm from this proposed enterprise. I learned of it a mere 18 days before the opportunity to protest was closed. This small window was created precisely to prevent the public from acting. Progress is being made in slow steps but the money and State laws influenced by Big Oil are working against us. All people in the area have a right to know what will be happening, what has happened elsewhere and at least given the right to referendum on this.
