The City of Mandeville Louisiana is incorporating new FEMA Flood Zone Maps on May 16th, 2012. Many residents of the City of Mandeville will see their required flood insurance premiums go down, adversely there are also some residents who will see their premiums raised. To make sure the best available information is given to the residents, the City is holding 3 "Open Houses" from 7pm to 9pm, at the following dates and locations:
- January 11th - District III – Treen Technology Center – 2024 Livingston St
- January 25th - District I – Pontchartrain Elementary School
- February 1st – District II – Treen Technology Center – 2024 Livingston St
