I believe in the "buy and hold" strategy when purchasing and owning real estate. For example, owning several homes which you rent out, or owning a 4 plex or 8 plex, is an excellent path to financial freedom. Especially if you keep and maintain the property for 10 years of more. Slidell, and St Tammany in general, will continue to grow in the years to come, and the one truth about land is; "they are not making any more of it."
