The St. Tammany Humane Society (STHS) is the only non-profit, NO-Kill, animal sheltering and welfare organization serving St. Tammany, and we rely primarily on the assistance of the community we serve to care for the more than 1,000 orphaned pets that enter our shelter each year.

S.T.A.R.T. was formed several years ago & quickly gained recognition in the community as a resource to help neglected & homeless animals.
