The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is holding it's annual surplus equipment auction Saturday, September 24, 2011. The auction will be held at the Sheriff’s Office complex at 2070 Collins Blvd. in Covington, LA; please see map below.
To participate in the auction, registration is required but is free. Prospective bidders may pre-register and view equipment to be sold on Friday, September 24th from 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Registration will continue Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The auction will begin at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments will be sold benefiting a local charity.
Items to be sold include cars, trucks, vans, scrap iron, computer equipment, office furniture and other miscellaneous equipment.
Forms of payment accepted are cash, certified funds, guaranteed funds, and credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Discovery only).
