I think that a home is not a home unless it is in harmony with nature around it. I grew up on almost 10 acres of land and much of the land was left wooded. We used to see deer in the morning crossing the property, as well as your almost weekly mish mash of Racoons, Possums, Rabbits, Snakes, Turtles, and Birds.
I used to build live animal traps with my Grandfather too, catching many a bird.

Please if anyone has anything in home and garden woodworking they would like to add, plans, specs, etc. I encourage it. I have several books at the house, and have built a few things. I would like to add deck plans at a later point, as well if anyone has simple pumphouse plan(s), they would be a great addition.
