When experiencing the Abita Opry, one has an overwhelming sense of history and of Louisiana’s rich and varied culture. Music truly does touch the soul. Once part of the Illinois Railroad, The Mandeville Trailhead is located on part of the Tammany Trace, Rails to Trails program with 28 miles of converted railroad. http://www.tammanytrace.org/.
